2013 HIGHLANDER CYCLE TOUR

As many riders didn’t get to ride the whole routes due to the epic rain storm that blew through last year, we are keeping the routes the same this year.

The 100 mile Highlander and the 100 Km Midlander, renamed the Quads Hilla and Quad Lite, are back with new routes, with Quads Hilla visiting Vine Valley. The Corkscrew Century got more rave reviews so we did not change it. You might want to bring a camera to capture some of the scenic Finger Lake vistas. The 40 mile Yodeler ride also remains the same, routed so that the last 5 miles from the Scenic Overlook rest stop follows the century rides in case the Yodelers wish to join the century riders, including 16 and 11 mile options for family riders.

IMPORTANT SAFETY REMINDER

The Highlander prides itself on providing a safe, well run, and accommodating event for all participants. The Highlander staff takes the safety of the riders, the spectators, and the communities through which we ride very seriously. To promote this, each rider should have read and follow the NYS DOT cycling guidelines, found here:

If riders do not follow these guidelines, the Highlander may be forced to limit or terminate the ride. Your help and attention to keep the highlander a safe, premium tour is appreciated.
